The 3.9 release brings new features for the eCRF and statistics
New statistical feature: Cox Model
This new statistical test allows you to refine your survival analyses by analyzing the effect of several variables at once on the survival of your patients.
Pick the event to analyze (eg. “Date of complication”) and the predictive variables you suspect (eg. Age, gender, diabetes) and a Cox model will be calculated.
Hazard ratios, confidence intervals and p-values are produced along with charts and texts for your article.
This feature is accessible from the “Predictive factors” menu or from any Kaplan-Meier survival analysis.
New e-CRF risk-based monitoring feature: Bound Numeric Variables
Set a minimal and a maximal value when creating a numeric variable. For example, you could define that the height of the patients should be between 120cm and 220cm. If a user enters a value below 120 or above 220, he will be displayed an error message and the value will not be recorded.
This feature is accessible from the “Variables” menu.
Improved navigation feature: searchable variable selectors
When you choose a variable for a statistical test, you now have access to a searchable variable picker. This may be handy when your series contains dozens of variables.
